The JPI Oceans is a coordination platform open to all EU Member States and Associated Countries who invest in marine and maritime research.It aims to create synergies, avoid duplication and fragmentation, fill existing gaps, plan joint and flexible initiatives, facilitate cooperation and forecasts, and establish efficient mechanisms for knowledge transfer and interaction between science, innovation and policy support.
